the approach:

When undertaking reviews or generating reports, my considered and empathetic approach ensures that the final document is sensitive and reflective of the people it affects, whilst remaining insightful and solution-focused.
I like to get a range of insight from a variety of perspectives to understand processes and dynamics that influence the culture and/or performance of a team or programme, allowing me to identify key areas of improvement and best practices.
My expertise also includes capability building within teams to enhance knowledge, confidence and skills in catering for wider demographics. Workshops include women and girls’ engagement, inclusive cultures and creating psychologically safe environments.

why work in this way?

it is not new knowledge that engaging people in the process provides better insight and empowerment to take ownership over the future direction, but yet so often it doesn't happen. In 2014, The Kings Fund conducted a review that found compelling evidence that NHS organisations with high levels of staff engagement – where staff are strongly committed to their work and involved in decision-making – deliver better quality care. It concluded that there was less staff sickness and turnover, a better patient experience and incredibly, a lower mortality rate.
